"I am sending this note to inform you that I am withdrawing my name from consideration for election to the NRA board of directors. After careful consideration and thought and consultation with various people, including but not limited to NRA-ILA, NRA and several others herein Delaware, I believe my efforts are best directed to working for the sportsmen of the state of Delaware. Concentrating my efforts here in Delaware avoids any conflict of interest that might develop between our position on issues here in Delaware and those of the NRA. It was an honor to be nominated. I believe it is better to represent DSSA in the Legislature as opposed to being forced to make a choice between the NRA and DSSA. I look forward to continue serving DSSA and the interests of all sportsmen here in Delaware and where ever else my travels may take me. I thank you all for your support and efforts and sincerely hope this has not caused any inconvenience. See you at the next match!!!"
